Join Our Rosary Octave
Here at our Lady’s Shrine our Rosary Octave of Prayer will begin on Monday, October 7.  The rosary will be recited at the Shrine Church each day of the octave for your special intentions on Monday at 6:45 p.m., CT, Tuesday through Friday at 7:45 a.m., CT, and on Sunday at 10:45 a.m., CT.  Send us your intentions and the names of your loved ones to be remembered in the Masses and prayers during the eight days of prayer. You may also burn Votive Lights for your special needs. During the eight days of the octave, please meditate on the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious  and Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, and prayerfully consider the actions of Jesus and Mary to better imitate their holiness in your life. We hope you will join us in person or in spirit.

A cherished Christmas tradition at our Lady’s Association is offering Christmas cards for you to send as spiritual gifts to relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else in need of God’s loving grace. The cards will not only warm the hearts of those who receive them, but will also grant your recipients a share in an octave of Masses beginning on Christmas Day offered here at our Lady’s Shrine. This year we are excited to have three new Christmas cards available. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the faith of Mary as Mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Any intentions you send us will be placed at our Lady’s Shrine for remembrance in the Christmas Octave beginning on Christmas Day and ending on January 1. Request your Christmas cards today and send us your intentions.

189 years ago, Our Lady appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré and asked her to have a medal made in the likeness of the vision presented to her. Catherine accepted this mission. In the years since Mary’s apparition to Saint Catherine, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal has touched the lives of hundreds of millions who have worn her medal and trust in her intercession. We continue Mary’s mission of hope by bringing people to Jesus through Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Allow the Association to pray with you. Send your petitions for remembrance in our annual Miraculous Medal Novena, November 18-26, and request Votive Lights to burn. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about how Mary is waiting to hear from you. To help you remember to pray and ask for God’s graces, request your 15-month Miraculous Medal Planner for 2020-2021. As you write your own scheduled dates and events, it will remind you that Mary brings Jesus to you every day of your life!

November All Souls Remembrance
At the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, we will pray for your deceased relatives and friends throughout the month of November. On All Souls Day, November 2, we will celebrate Mass for those you wish to remember. Send me their names so they can be placed near Mary’s Shrine for All Souls Day, and if you also give us their anniversary dates, we will remember your loved ones at the appropriate time in the coming year. You can also burn Votive Lights for your departed loved ones as a visible reminder of your prayers for them. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the time-honored tradition of commemorating the faithful departed on All Souls Day.
