Here at our Lady’s Shrine our Rosary Octave of Prayer will begin on Wednesday, October 7. AMM staff will pray the Rosary daily through next Wednesday, October 14. We hope you, too, will pray the rosary each of the eight days of this octave of prayer. Send us your intentions and the names of your loved ones to be remembered during the eight days of prayer. You may also burn Votive Lights for your special intentions. Pope Francis has urged all Catholics to pray the Rosary daily to unite us as one spiritual family and to help the Church in its time of trial. Saint Pope John Paul II taught that through this ancient prayer, we receive abundant grace, “as though from the very hands of the Mother of the Redeemer.”

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal has touched the lives of hundreds of millions who have worn her medal and trust in her intercession. We continue Mary’s mission of hope by bringing people to Jesus through Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. In honor of our Lady, you are invited to send your petitions for remembrance in our annual Miraculous Medal Novena of Masses, November 18-26. You can also request Votive Lights to burn for your intentions. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about how Mary is waiting to hear from you. As a reminder to ask our Lady for God’s graces, request your 15-month Miraculous Medal Planner for 2021-2022. As you write your own scheduled dates and events, it will remind you that Mary brings Jesus to you every day of your life!

Would you like to give a spiritually enriching Christmas gift to someone you love? I invite you to send our beautiful Christmas cards to your relatives and friends. The cards not only share beautiful sentiments of the season as we celebrate the birth of our infant Savior, Jesus, but they will also offer your recipients a share in an octave of Masses beginning on Christmas Day here at our Lady’s National Shrine. This year we have three new Christmas cards available. Be sure to request them early. The names of your recipients will be placed at our Lady’s Shrine for remembrance in the Christmas octave of Masses, beginning on Christmas Day and ending on January 1. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the faith of Mary as Mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

All Souls Remembrance
May we join you in praying for the souls of your departed loved ones?

Beginning with the November 2 observance of All Souls Day and throughout the month, we would like to offer prayers of intercession for your deceased relatives and friends. Simply send the names of your departed loved ones. These names will be placed near Mary’s Altar at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal here in Perryville. (If you include the date of your loved one’s passing, we will also remember them during that month.) You may also burn a Votive Light as one more sign of your enduring love for your departed loved ones.

Fr. Kevin’s letter shares much more about the beautiful tradition of All Souls Day!
