In the first issue of the Miraculous Medal Bulletin for 2020, Father Kevin talks about the important role and power of memories and storytelling across generations as a way to bring people together.
Father Hinni’s article explores prayer as an activity and how prayer can bring us joy, peace, confidence, and hope in our God. You will also find information about our annual May Procession on May 3, along with the change of time to the Monday Novena. The Spring Bulletin contains our 2020 Spring Gift Brochure in which features new items as well as other religious items suitable for First Communion, Confirmation, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. Our new Easter cards are also introduced, as are three of the marble statues on the new Marian Meditation Walk. We hope you will take time to read these articles and others in the 2020 Spring Bulletin.

A cherished Christmas tradition at our Lady’s Association is offering Christmas cards for you to send as spiritual gifts to relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else in need of God’s loving grace. The cards will not only warm the hearts of those who receive them, but will also grant your recipients a share in an octave of Masses beginning on Christmas Day offered here at our Lady’s Shrine. This year we are excited to have three new Christmas cards available. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the faith of Mary as Mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Any intentions you send us will be placed at our Lady’s Shrine for remembrance in the Christmas Octave beginning on Christmas Day and ending on January 1. Request your Christmas cards today and send us your intentions.

“We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection…” These words powerfully profess our belief in Christ’s saving work. By his resurrection, Jesus returned humanity to the grace of participating forever in his glory. Read Fr. Kevin’s message about proclaiming the good news of our belief in life over death. Send me your petitions to be remembered here at the Shrine in our Easter Octave of Masses beginning on Easter Sunday and concluding on Divine Mercy Sunday. Burn Votive Lights for family and friends. To help you announce the Easter blessings promised to us by Jesus, send one of our new Easter cards to someone you love. When you do so, you will not only be sharing the good news of Jesus’ promise to us, but you will also be offering your loved one a spiritual remembrance in our Easter Octave of Masses.

Read Our Winter Bulletin
In the 2018 Winter Bulletin, Father Kevin concludes his series reflecting on the closing address given by Pope Francis in 2017 at the Vincentian Family Symposium. All of us are asked to go out and make disciples of all nations. Don writes about unanswered prayers with the lingering question of “why” and Fr. Tom Hinni invites us to live in the joy that only Jesus gives, while Fr. Charles Shelby talks about “the best boss in the world.” You will also read about the Association’s 100th anniversary celebration that took place in October. A new Votive Light card is available to use during the bleak winter months. Spots are still available on our 2019 pilgrimages to France and Lourdes, and the river cruise in December. To see how you help us do our Lady’s work, a financial accountability report for 2018 is included. To learn more about the ways you can give a Year-End gift to the Association, be sure to read the Winter Bulletin.
